Sussex's Georgia Adams and Tom Haines have been named respectively in the Professional Cricketers' Association (PCA) Women's & Men's Teams of the Year.
The teams are decided by the PCA Most Valuable Player (MVP) rankings to give a men's and women's ultimate XI from the 2021 domestic season.
The women's MVP is based on performances in the regional 50-over and T20 competitions and The Hundred, while the men's MVP takes into account performances in the LV= Insurance County Championship, Royal London Cup, Vitality Blast and The Hundred.
Georgia was named as one of the openers in the women's team of the year having amassed 235 overall MVP points from her performances for Southern Vipers and Oval Invincibles. Tom is in at the top of the order of the men's team having earned 282 MVP points from his Sussex performances.
Last week, Tom was nominated for the PCA's Men's Young Player of the Year Award, which was eventually won by Yorkshire's Harry Brook. He was also included in both the Wisden and BBC Sport Championship teams of the year, alongside Sussex teammate Ben Brown.
