Community Cricket Coach - West Sussex - Part Time - 20hrs/week

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in the Sussex Cricket Foundation (SCF). We are looking for a Community Cricket Coaches in the west of Sussex to continue our mission of actively changing lives through the power of cricket.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cricket-based sessions in a variety of locations across Sussex to schools, clubs and communities under the guidance of a Territory Manager.

Sussex Cricket is committed to safeguarding by protecting children, young people and vulnerable adults. As such, all relevant posts are subject to a vetting process, which requires up-to-date DBS checks and the provision of two work-related references.

Recreational Cricket Vacancies 

Brighton and Hove Cricket Club is seeking a Head Coach (UKCC Level 2 or equivalent) to lead our thriving women’s section for the 2025 season alongside overseeing coaching of our girl's section. With around 35 active members in the women’s section, and teams competing in both the Sussex Premier League and Sussex Division 2, we are looking for a passionate and experienced coach to help develop our players and support their progression.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver weekly training sessions to help all players reach their full potential.
  • Lead Outdoor Training from Tuesday 17th April to early September, for the Women.
  • Oversee Outdoor Training for our girl's section on Mondays during the season.
  • Attend occasional Sunday matches to observe teams and refine coaching strategies.
  • Optional: Opportunity to take on a team management role for one of the women’s teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A committed and enthusiastic coach with UKCC Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Strong leadership skills and a passion for developing women’s cricket.
  • Availability for scheduled training sessions and occasional match observations.

Remuneration will be in line with standard rates for the coaching qualification.
