Sussex’s Phil Salt, Rashid Khan and Travis Head will play in a charity match to raise funds for the Australian bushfires on Sunday.
Australian Football League stars, Tom Lynch, who captains Adelaide Crows, and Hamish Hartlett, who is Port Adelaide vice-captain, completed their ‘T20 Showdown’ squads on Wednesday.
Head and Salt will play together for Port Adelaide, alongside the likes of Harry Nielsen and Sarah Lowe, while Khan will be joined by the likes of Alex Carey and Bridget Patterson in the Adelaide Crows side.
Salt said: "It will be a privilege to play on Sunday. Hopefully we can raise some money for a really important cause and put some smiles on faces.
"Since being out here in Australia, I’ve witnessed first hand the devastation caused by the bushfires and how badly the country has been hit.
"In the grand scheme of things, it puts cricket into perspective really – but this match shows the good cricket can create. I’m just glad we can do our bit to help."
The T20 Showdown begins at 14:30pm local time on Sunday 2 February, and you can donate directly to the Adelaide Strikers SA Bushfire Appeal here.
