Rashid Khan named in Big Bash Team of the Tournament

Rashid Khan has been named in the the KFC BBL|09 Team of the Tournament.

The leg-spinner, who is ranked as the world's best T20 bowler and is returning to play for Sussex Sharks this summer, was named in the star-studded XI for the third consecutive season. 

Khan took 19 wickets as Adelaide Strikers reached the knockout stages of BBL|09, and boasted the best economy rate (7.24) of the competition's top-four wicket-takers.

Our overseas star also became the first ever Strikers player to take a Big Bash hat-trick, with his figures of 4-22 against Sydney Sixers the second best in the club's history. 

Despite stealing headlines with the ball, Khan also starred with the bat, smashing a total of 124 runs off just 81 deliveries.
