Rashid Khan has described his incredible hat-trick ball against Sydney Sixers as the best ball he's ever bowled in the Big Bash.
Khan, who is returning to The 1st Central County Ground this summer for the Vitality Blast, dismissed James Vince, Jack Edwards and finally Jordan Silk to take the third T20 hat-trick of his career.
It wasn't quite enough to prevent Jason Gillespie's Adelaide Strikers from losing a thrilling clash, but our overseas star was delighted with the perfectly placed wrong'un which sealed his trio of wickets.
"I wasn’t expecting to get the hat-trick on this wicket. It wasn’t spinning that much,” Rashid told adelaidestrikers.com.
"After getting the first two I had a think about what should I bowl and where I should bowl.
"Before my mark I just said ‘let’s go’, I just needed to pitch it in the right area and thank God I got a wicket.
"I think that was the best ball I have bowled since I’ve been here in the BBL.
"It was the perfect length and perfect area to bowl it and get the wicket. You can only dream for that ball as a hat-trick ball."

Rashid is now looking ahead to Sunday's clash against reigning Big Bash champions, Melbourne Renegades, with the Strikers hoping to bounce back from three narrow defeats.
"We’ve lost three close games. We have a home game next against the Renegades who will be under pressure after losing seven games," he said.
"We have to bring our best. We have to bring the energy we had in the first three games. Still, we’ve had very close games it’s not like we’ve lost one-sided games. We’ve brought the games to the last overs but just couldn’t finish it off.
"We just need to work on those areas we’re struggling with in our bowling and batting and come back stronger."
