Player availability update: Alex Carey, Jared Warner & Delray Rawlins

Alex Carey will now also be available for Sussex's Specsavers County Championship fixture against Middlesex at The 1st Central County Ground beginning on Sunday 18th August.

The Australian wicketkeeper batsman expressed his desire to play in the match and has been issued a no objection certificate (NOC) by Cricket Australia.

Yorkshire fast-bowler Jared Warner will rejoin the club on loan for the remainder of the Championship season, beginning with the match against Middlesex.

This will be the 22-year-old’s second loan spell of the season at Sussex. He joined for a month in May but was forced to return early to the White Rose county for treatment on a side strain having made his first-class debut in Sussex’s draw with Glamorgan.

Delray Rawlins will be unavailable for the Championship match against Middlesex, as well as the Vitality Blast matches against Essex Eagles on Thursday 22nd August and Middlesex on Saturday 24th August.

The 21-year-old allrounder has been selected by Bermuda to take part in the ICC T20 World Cup Americas Qualifiers. The tournament takes place in Bermuda from Sunday 18th August to Sunday 25th August and will decide which of Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands and USA will proceed to the ICC World T20 2020 Qualifier in the UAE in October and November.
