Alex Carey clear to join Sussex Sharks

Following the announcement of the Australia squad for the forthcoming men’s Ashes series, Sussex Cricket can confirm that wicketkeeper-batsman Alex Carey will now join Sussex Sharks for the remainder of the 2019 Vitality Blast.

Alex will be in line for his Sharks debut against Somerset at The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton on Sunday.

The 27-year-old will make his first home appearance against Kent Spitfires next Friday night at The 1st Central County Ground.
