Sussex Women's squad announced

Sussex Head Coach Alexia Walker has named her squad ahead of today’s T20 Vitality Blast match against Kent.

After two strong wins against Hampshire, Sussex enter the final round of the T20 season by taking on rivals Kent who are unbeaten in the competition. The Sussex side hope to put in some string performances prior to the Finals Day next Sunday.

Due to workload issues, Georgia Adams is unavailable as she has been selected for England Academy this week.

However, England player Georgia Elwiss returns for the first time this season and will lead the county at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy. Tara Norris is in Dubai for the international Fairbreak competition so Vipers Academy bowler, Daisy Gibb re-joins the T20 squad after making her debut in 2021. 

Izzy Atherton, the u18 wicket keeper is added to the squad and young all-rounder, Maisie Taylor joins the Senior squad for the first time.
