Supporters are invited to take a step back in time this summer as we celebrate one of the most memorable chapters in the club's history with a special ‘Rewind to 2006’ event, held in aid of the Sussex Cricket Foundation.
Taking place alongside the Vitality Blast T20 Double Header against Leicestershire Foxes on Friday 5th June at The County Ground, Hove - the occasion will see the return of the double-winning players from the 2006 season after 20 years, including Chris Adams, Mushtaq Ahmed, Luke Wright, Mark Robinson and many more. While supporting the Sussex Cricket Foundation and its work using cricket to inspire healthier lives, increase participation and make a difference across our communities.
Guests will be welcomed into the Dean Wilson Boundary Rooms from 4pm, with a two-course meal served from 5pm, before the focus turns to the stars of 2006 for a short Q&A at 6pm, hosted by
Mark Williams – magician, comedian and event host - offering stories and reflections from a season that still holds a special place in supporters’ hearts. The afternoon will also feature a
fundraising raffle in aid of the Sussex Cricket Foundation, with a range of amazing prizes up for grabs.
The celebration continues as attention shifts to the evening’s on-field action, with the Men’s Vitality Blast fixture against Leicestershire Foxes getting underway at 7pm, providing the perfect way to round off the occasion.
For those arriving earlier to enjoy the Women’s fixture starting at 3pm, seating will be available outside the Dean Wilson Boundary Rooms. Please note that the bar and indoor tables will open from 4pm as part of the main event schedule.
Guests attending in groups of fewer than ten may be seated on shared tables with other parties.
Rewind to 2006 is set to be a fitting tribute to a truly iconic season and a chance to reconnect with heroes of the past, all while supporting a fantastic cause. Tables are limited, so supporters are encouraged to book their table now to avoid missing out -
