England Cricket Legends Harmison & Hoggard to Headline Foundation Fundraising Event

The Sussex Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce An Afternoon with Harmison & Hoggard, an exclusive fundraising event featuring former England fast-bowling stars Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard.

Taking place on Thursday 3 December 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole, the event will offer a unique opportunity to hear firsthand stories and behind-the-scenes memories from two of England's most celebrated bowlers.

From unforgettable Ashes triumphs to memorable dressing room anecdotes, Harmison and Hoggard will share highlights from their distinguished international careers, in what promises to be an entertaining and insightful afternoon while raising vital funds to support the work of the Sussex Cricket Foundation across the county.

Gary Wallis-Tayler, Head of the Sussex Cricket Foundation, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard to Brighton for what will be a fantastic afternoon. Both are true legends of the game, and their stories from some of England's greatest cricketing moments will make this a special occasion for everyone attending.

The support generated through events like this is invaluable, helping the Sussex Cricket Foundation continue to deliver programmes that use the power of cricket to make a difference to people and communities across Sussex.

Guests will be welcomed with drinks on arrival before enjoying a three-course meal. Alongside the Q&A, attendees will have the chance to participate in a range of fundraising activities, including a live auction, silent auction, charity raffle and the popular Heads & Tails game.
