Important spectator information for Glamorgan Championship fixture

Sussex welcome Glamorgan to The 1st Central County Ground for their next four-day LV= Insurance County Championship match that starts on Sunday 4th July. 

If you are coming to the match, you will find some important information about your visit below. This is to make sure everyone attending enjoys their visit as safely as possible, and to ensure we can continue welcoming supporters for the rest of the season, so please read carefully!

Due to COVID-19 protocol there will be no gate box office sales or collections. Tickets for each day's play are available to purchase online only until 11am on the day in question and will be emailed soon after purchase.

Membership Cards will not permit access. All supporters attending the match must have a valid match ticket. 

Pre-match checklist

• Don’t attend if you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19.
• Check your email for your match day ticket(s). Tickets will be sent to your registered email address by 5pm on Thursday 1st July or soon after purchase if bought after this time. If you haven’t received them, please check spam filters before contacting the ticketing team. Please note, if you have bought tickets for multiple days, these may be sent separately.
• Once received, download your ticket(s) to your mobile or print them out, so they can be scanned when you arrive.
• Bring a face covering, as you’ll need to wear this whenever you are not in your designated seat.
• Bring a credit or debit card for any purchases. The ground will be cashless.
• Download the NHS COVID-19 app to your phone. You can use this to check-in at the ground for track and trace purposes.
• Read our full spectator code of conduct so you know exactly what is required during your visit.

Golden rules once inside the ground

• Make sure you adhere to social distancing rules at all times.
• Only sit in your designated seat and remain seated whenever possible. If you do leave your seat, exit the row with your back to other spectators.
• Wear a face covering whenever you are not in your seat.
• Sanitise your hands regularly. Hand sanitiser stations are available around the ground.
• Check capacity limits before accessing any of the ground’s indoor facilities (toilets, catering outlets, club shop etc.).
• Follow instructions on signage and from the stewarding team.
• Supporters will be able to leave the ground and re-enter later in the day up until 4pm. After this time, gates will be closed for entry and readmission.

Facilities inside the ground

• For spectators in the Jointing Tech Sharks Stand, food and drink is available from Tony Greig’s Café and Sharks Bar located at the back of the stand, as well as a concession van located next to the stand.
• For members and spectators in the Spen Cama Pavilion, food and drink is available in the Long Room.
• Spectator toilets are located inside the Spen Cama Pavilion, at the back of the Jointing Tech Sharks Stand and at the back of the South Stand. Please observe capacity limits detailed on signage at these locations.
• The club shop will be open from gates opening until 5pm. Capacity is limited to four spectators at a time.
• Scorecards will be available free of charge from pick-up points in the Spen Cama Pavilion and outside Tony Greig’s Café.
