Shepherd Neame Summer Sessions comes to Hove

Sussex Cricket are delighted to announce the 'Shepherd Neame Sussex Summer Sessions' is coming to Hove this week during our hosting of Somerset.

The Sussex Summer Sessions is a free-to-attend four-day festival, showcasing the finest Shepherd Neame beers from around the world... complimenting our next Rothesay County Championship home fixture against Somerset perfectly.

During the four-day game, all festival beers will be priced at just £5 a pint during the following session times:

Thursday 27 August: Tea until end of play
Friday 28 August: Tea until end of play
Saturday 29 August: Lunch until Tea
Sunday 30 August: All day (match dependent)

Pints will be priced at £6.50 outside of these session times.

In addition to a selection of exquisite Shepherd Neame beers, Harvey's will be providing a range of their products at the festival.

Confirmed guest beers:

BEAR ISLAND ECPA 
A deep golden 4.8% ABV pale ale, bursting with grassy pine, citrus and fruit aromas courtesy of US Cascade and Amarillo hops, this pale ale offers light caramel notes on the palate with a touch of spice and well-rounded bitterness from the UK Boadicea hops.

NEW ZEALAND HAZY PALE ALE 
New Zealand Hazy Pale Ale (5.3%) is a cold IPA crafted using Kiwi hops known for their zesty citrus character namely Kohatu, Motueka, Wakatu and Wai-iti – creating a refreshing, hazy beer with a citrus kick. 

SUN LIK 
A premium quality, refreshing 5% abv beer with an unmistakable Oriental taste. Inspired by the paradise of the East, brewed from the finest malt, rice, hops and natural spring water.

As with all Rothesay County Championship fixtures, admission is completely free for members for all four days of the Somerset game.
