Day 1 of New Zealand Tour match abandoned

The first day of the friendly against New Zealand has been abandoned by the match umpires following a day of heavy rain.

The weather meant that the umpires took the decision to call off play for the day on the grounds of player safety, as a result of water on the outfield.

Tickets for day 2

Tickets are available to purchase online until the scheduled start of play at 11:00am. Alternatively tickets are available to purchase over the phone or in person within the Club Shop, until 16:30 today.

Alcohol policy

Visitors are also reminded that alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the ground for this fixture. Food and beverages will be available to purchase at a number of outlets around The 1st Central County Ground.
