Ticket Refund and Rollback Policy

Sussex Cricket operates the following policy for advance purchase sales only. This does not include blast pass holders, match day hospitality, membership or match tickets purchased on the day for which the ticket is valid. Details for each competition can be found below.

County Championship

For days 1 to 3 of the LV= Insurance County Championship Match:  If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), we are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 15 overs played - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Metro Bank One Day Cup, Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and Women’s One Day International

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 15 overs played and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 30 overs played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Vitality Blast and Women's Vitality IT20

If, for the day for which the paid ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), we are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted and no result is obtained, you will be entitled to a full refund of the match ticket value only, subject to there being: non-admittance of spectators OR zero to 10 overs of the match completed. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Blast Pass - If the number of spectators able to attend a match is reduced, as a result of any capacity restrictions, Sussex Cricket reserve the right to cancel and/or proportionately refund a Blast Pass. However, Blast Pass holders affected will be given first refusal to purchase full price individual match tickets.

Women's Vitality IT20 (2024)

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid, play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) zero to 10 overs are played of the only or last match of the day and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 10.1 overs to 20 overs are played of the only or last match of the day and no result is obtained - a 50% refundIn no other circumstances can money be refunded

Refunds will be made automatically by Sussex Cricket to the original purchaser only, by refunding their debit or credit card. For refund queries telephone 01273 827100. Also visit www.ecb.co.uk/refundscheme. Please allow 30 days from the date the refund is confirmed for your refund to be processed.

Reduced capacity and rollback information

If the number of spectators able to attend a match is reduced because of any capacity restrictions, the ticket holders able to attend the match will be selected according to the chronological order in which they made their purchase.

In this instance, supporters whose purchase remains valid will be allocated a seat and sent their tickets, while all other unsuccessful purchasers will be refunded in line with the refund policy.

How will your ticket refund be processed?

Debit / Credit Card – If you used a debit or credit card to purchase your match ticket you will receive a refund back to the same payment method within 30 days of the affected match.

Cash / Other Payment – If you used another form of payment apart from debit or credit card, you are required to supply the Club with your refund details. Following receipt your refund will be processed within 30 days of the affected match.

Membership Refund Policy | COVID Commitment Policy  

Sussex Cricket operate the following COVID-19 commitment policy for membership sales relating to the 2024 season. Our COVID-19 commitment will see us proportionally refund any home LV= Insurance County Championship or Royal London Cup group match played behind closed doors or cancelled and not rescheduled as a result of COVID-19.  

A full list of eligible membership categories can be seen below:  

  • Sussex  
  • SO Legal Executive  

For the avoidance of doubt, any membership category not listed above is ineligible for the COVID-19 commitment policy e.g. Martlet, Youth and Junior.  

How will your membership refund be processed?   

Debit / Credit Card – If you used a debit or credit card to purchase your membership you will receive a refund back to the same payment method.   

Cash / Other Payment – If you used another form of payment apart from debit or credit card, you are required to supply the Club with your refund details.   

All refunds will be calculated and communicated at the conclusion of the season.  

Refunds relating to the 2023 season will be unable to be requested or made after the 31st October 2023.
