TICKET REFUND / EXCHANGE AND ROLLBACK POLICY 

Sussex Cricket operates the following policy for advance purchase sales only. This does not include match day hospitality, membership or match tickets purchased on the day for which the ticket is valid. Details for each competition can be found below:

LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup 

If, for the day for which the paid ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), we are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID -19) OR play does not take place OR cancelled, there will be no refund. Paid tickets will be valid for a future LV= County Championship or Royal London Cup game in the same calendar year, subject to availability. 

Vitality Blast 

If, for the day for which the paid ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), we are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted and no result is obtained, you will be entitled to a full refund of the match ticket value only, subject to there being: non-admittance of spectators OR zero to 10 overs of the match completed. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. 

Vitality Women’s IT20 & Southern Vipers

If, for the day for which the paid ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), we are unable to admit spectators OR play does not take place OR play is restricted and no result is obtained, you will be entitled to a full refund of the match ticket value only, subject to there being: non-admittance of spectators OR zero to 10 overs of the only or last match of the day completed. In no other circumstances can money be refunded. 

Reduced capacity and rollback information 

LV= Insurance County Championship and Royal London Cup 

If the number of spectators able to attend a match is reduced as a result of any capacity restrictions, the ticket holders able to attend the match will be selected according to the chronological order in which they made their purchase. 

Vitality Blast 

If the number of spectators able to attend a match is reduced as a result of any capacity restrictions, supporters will be given priority to purchase match ticket(s) according to the chronological order in which they made their ‘zero value’ ticket request. Those supporters whose ‘zero value’ ticket request is successful will then have a limited time to log on to the Sussex Cricket e-ticketing site, or contact the box office, to complete their purchase. Failure to complete the purchase by the stated deadline will result in their ticket allocation being offered to another supporter, once again based on chronological data. 

Supporters who complete their purchase and provide details for all attendees will then be sent their eTickets.  

Vitality Women’s IT20 & Southern Vipers

If the number of spectators able to attend a match is reduced as a result of any capacity restrictions, the ticket holders able to attend the match will be selected according to the chronological order in which they made their purchase. 

In this instance, supporters whose purchase remains valid will be allocated a seat and sent their tickets, while all other unsuccessful purchasers will be refunded in line with the refund policy. 

How will your ticket refund be processed? 

Debit / Credit Card – If you used a debit or credit card to purchase your match ticket you will receive a refund back to the same payment method. 

Cash / Other Payment – If you used another form of payment apart from debit or credit card, you are required to supply the Club with your refund details. 

All refunds will be communicated and processed at the conclusion of the season. 

Refunds relating to the 2021 season will be unable to be requested or made after the 31st October 2021. 

MEMBERSHIP REFUND / COVID COMMITMENT POLICY 

Sussex Cricket operate the following COVID-19 commitment policy for membership sales relating to the 2021 season. Our COVID-19 commitment will see us proportionally refund any home LV= Insurance County Championship or Royal London Cup match played behind closed doors or cancelled and not rescheduled as a result of COVID-19. 

A full list of eligible membership categories can be seen below: 

  • Sussex 

  • SO Legal Executive 

  • Youth 

  • Junior 

For the avoidance of doubt, any membership category not listed above is considered as ineligible for the COVID-19 commitment policy e.g. Martlet. 

How will your membership refund be processed?  

Debit / Credit Card – If you used a debit or credit card to purchase your membership you will receive a refund back to the same payment method.  

Cash / Other Payment – If you used another form of payment apart from debit or credit card, you are required to supply the Club with your refund details.  

All refunds will be calculated, communicated and processed at the conclusion of the season. 

Refunds relating to the 2021 season will be unable to be requested or made after the 31st October 2021.
