1. Lottie Curling takes wicket with first senior ball
As introductions to the team go, not many can top Lottie Curling's. A product of the Sussex pathway, Lottie made her debut against Middlesex and announced herself with her very first delivery. Lottie ended up with 2-32 off her 7 overs as Sussex won by 94 runs with 10 overs to spare.
2. Izzy Collis reaches 100 caps
It was a momentous moment for Izzy Collis when she was awarded her 100th Sussex cap for the County, prior to the game against Oxfordshire on August 17th. Izzy is just the sixth player to reach the milestone, a group that includes Sussex Women Head Coach, Alexia Walker and current team mate, Chiara Green.
3. Sussex Women win two out of three trophies
The final nomination goes to the entire Sussex Women squad. Having first won the Regional Vitality Blast T20 trophy for the second year running, Sussex Women lifted gold again after a tense wait on the final day of the competition.
Eventually Sussex were crowned champions of the South Central Regional Cup in August after winning four games on the bounce. Having finished level with Hampshire, Sussex were awarded the trophy thanks to a superior head-to-head record over their rivals.
Sussex Women have had one of the most successful seasons in recent years made even more remarkable by being one of the most affected counties by professional and international call-ups. 28 players represented Sussex across 15 matches with another 5 eligible but not available due to injury or international commitments. For a non-professional team this was simply remarkable.

On her 99th appearance for Sussex, opener Izzy Collis blasted her way to 102 runs from 127 balls as Sussex Women comfortably beat Dorset Cricket by 169 runs in the South Central Regional Cup, a trophy the team would go on to lift.

3. Anna Buckle takes 5-32 against Oxfordshire
Having won the toss and elected to bat, Sussex put on a total of 237 runs before being bowled out, but Anna Buckle made sure of the win as she put on a display of fine bowling to ensure victory was secured.
