The Sussex Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce that Sutton Winson has made an outstanding donation of £2,400 which will be reinvested into grassroots cricket and will help the Foundation to continue to grow the game of cricket across Sussex.
Working from offices in Greater London and locally in Burgess Hill, Sutton Winson has been a proud partner of Sussex Cricket Foundation since 2021, all the while continuing to provide clubs with bespoke insurance solutions as it has for over two decades.
SW has been able to make such a fantastic donation through their recreational club insurance scheme, to which over 40 clubs are currently signed up. Essentially, each time a club purchases insurance with SW – whether that be a new policy or the renewal of existing cover – SW set aside a set amount of their own commission to be paid to Sussex Cricket Foundation annually. The more clubs purchasing insurance from SW, the greater the donation will be!
Gary Wallis-Tayler, Community Cricket Director, expresses his gratitude to SW, commenting:
“We’re grateful to everyone at Sutton Winson for their generous donation and ongoing support of the Foundation. Our partnership provides our clubs with the opportunity to access competitive insurance cover for their clubs.
"The reinvestment of the funds back into recreational cricket allows my team to continue growing the game and making it accessible across Sussex.”
SW are also thankful for the partnership, with James Allan, Head of Commercial Schemes, adding:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be able to donate these funds to Sussex Cricket Foundation. We wouldn’t be able to do this without the help of all the clubs that support us.
"We look forward to providing our insurance solutions to more clubs as we continue to proudly work alongside Sussex Cricket Foundation.”
