The Sussex D40 team will once again play at The 1st Central County Ground on Sunday 18th June 2023 to take on Middlesex D40 in the D40 Quest League.
Last June The 1st Central County Ground played host to an historic occasion as the Sussex D40 side beat Surrey D40 in front of over 300 people, making it the first ever ECB County Disability League fixture at a first-class venue.
This summer the team will return once again to play in front of the Hove crowd, in what is sure to be another fantastic day for disability cricket.
Sussex Cricket Foundation Community Cricket Director, Gary Wallis-Tayler said: “We are delighted to once again be able to host one of our D40 fixtures at The 1st Central County Ground this summer.
“This is now an important event in the County Club fixture list and continues to show our commitment to Disability Cricket ensuring that we continue to make all our County Pathway Players feel a part of Sussex Cricket.
We look forward to welcoming Middlesex on Sunday 18th June, for what we hope will be another historic, memorable occasion.”
The D40 team are sponsored by local Foundation Community Partner, Webtrends Optimize and they are once again excited to support the team on another ground-breaking occasion.
