Dean Wilson Sussex Cricket League T20 Finals Day Returns to Hove
On Sunday 31st August (tomorrow), The 1st Central County Ground in Hove hosts the annual Dean Wilson Sussex Cricket League (SCL) T20 Finals Day.
The day is the showpiece in the SCL calendar each year and showcases three exciting finals at varying levels of the SCL pyramid. Fans of local cricket are in for a treat with a full schedule of competitive matches, culminating in a floodlit finale.
The Sussex Cricket League and Sussex Cricket Foundation would like to extend a huge thank you to new league sponsors and community partners, Dean Wilson Solicitors LLP - who's support of the league and the wider recreational game, is hugely instrumental in putting on a day such as this.
Kicking off at 11:30am, the T20 Plate Final sees Ifield 3rd XI take on Sidley 1st XI in a East Sussex vs West Sussex clash.
At approximately 2:30pm, The Paul Baker T20 Trophy Final will feature Three Bridges 2nd XI facing Chichester Priory Park 2nd XI, promising a battle of depth and talent.
The day concludes with the inaugural Daniel Oliver T20 Cup Final at 6:00pm, played under the Hove lights. Cuckfield 1st XI will challenge Three Bridges 1st XI in what’s set to be a thrilling finale to cap off the day.
Gates open from 10:30am at The 1st Central County Ground, with all matches free to attend. All timings mentioned are approximate and subject to change on the day.
