Still time to enter your bid for a piece of Sharks history

14 Sep 2021

There’s still time to bid for a piece of Sussex history! Our charity auction of the match-worn and signed playing shirts of every player to feature for Sussex Sharks in this year’s Vitality Blast is live until 11pm on Finals Day (Saturday 18th September).

Currently, the auction has attracted bids totalling £1,650, with eleven of the 19 shirts already attracting bids of over £100 each! The number 22 shirt that Jofra Archer wore in the Sharks’ group stage match against our semi-final opponents Kent Spitfires is currently leading the way with a current bid of £200!

If that’s out of your budget, don’t worry. There are still three shirts with opening bids of just £30 available. That would be a small price to pay for a unique item like this, especially if the Sharks triumph at Edgbaston on Saturday!

The auction is being held to raise money to help Sussex Cricket Foundation continue its brilliant work changing lives through cricket across our community. The funds raised by the auction will be put towards the Champions Fund which supports young cricketers of all ages, abilities, genders and backgrounds from across Sussex.

Head to our online auction house to place your bid today.
