Kirtley’s comments

“There was a real buzz around the place when we came into train, it was really excitement. As a coach you’re wondering how your players will react to an important game, so it was great to see.

“We’ve been playing some really good cricket in this competition; we’ve tried to keep it as simple as possible and we hope that those processes will take us into a semi-final tomorrow.

“The lads have been positive with the ball, disciplined with the ball and we’ve been committed in the field. They’re playing with a smile on their face and with real enjoyment which is brilliant.”
