After showing plenty of signs of encouragement with both bat and ball, Head Coach Ian Salisbury is looking for more of the same tomorrow: “I was really pleased with how the boys applied themselves across all three days against Surrey. This game gives us another opportunity to get some much-needed match practice before the County Championship gets underway next week.”
Jofra Archer continues his rehabilitation work with the ECB, while Ollie Robinson is away with England in the Caribbean. Jack Carson misses out following surgery on his knee and hopes to return for matches in May.
Archie Lenham is rested for the warm-up match as Sussex continue to manage the young spinner’s workload following a stress fracture in the winter. George Garton and Sean Hunt will miss out as they continue their recovery from an illness.
James Coles, Tom Hinley and Harrison Ward will also not feature as they continue in higher education.
Play is scheduled to start at 11:00am across all three days. Spectators are welcome to attend, entry is free of charge with Eaton Road gates opening one and a half hour hours before start of play on each day.
For all three days supporters will be situated in the Spen Cama pavilion. Various food and beverage options will be available to purchase within this location.
A reminder to all attendees that The 1st Central County Ground is now a cashless venue, therefore please ensure you prepare accordingly.
