Six Sussex players retained for this year’s The Hundred competition

16 Feb 2023

Shadab Khan, Ravi Bopara, Jofra Archer, Tymal Mills, George Garton and Freya Kemp have all been retained by their The Hundred franchises for this year’s competition.

Tymal Mills, Jofra Archer and George Garton will once again line-up for the Southern Brave Men’s team, with Freya Kemp also retained for the Southern Brave Women’s side, while Ravi Bopara gears up for another year with London Spirit.

Sussex Sharks new signing Shadab Khan will play for the Birmingham Phoenix in what will be the competition’s third successive season.

England Women and Sussex all-rounder Freya Kemp said: “The Hundred is like no other competition I've been a part of, so I’m really honoured to be retained by Southern Brave.

“It’s always great to be play under Charlotte Edwards, I learn a lot from her and my teammates so I’m looking forward to getting back out there.”

Congratulations! #GOSBTS
