Notice of Sussex Cricket Ltd Annual General Meeting 2021

In the interest of putting Members health and safety first and in line with government guidance, the Board of Directors has taken the decision to hold the 2021 Sussex Cricket Limited Annual General meeting virtually. The virtual AGM will still take place on Tuesday 30th March 2021, starting at 7pm. 

The meeting will be held via the online ‘Zoom’ platform, much like the 2020 AGM held in August. After the formal proceedings have been concluded, there will be a Members Forum conducted with opportunities for Members to ask questions of the Board Officers, the cricket management and Chief Executive, Rob Andrew.

As with previous years, Individual Members and Affiliated Club Members will be admitted to the AGM on evidence of their paid-up membership for 2021. Therefore, if you would like to attend the virtual AGM on the 30th March, we would ask all Members to register their interest HERE, stating their membership number by noon on Friday, 26th March 2021 at the latest. The joining details for the Zoom meeting will only be sent to members who have indicated their interest by the deadline. As a paid-up Member you should have already received the Audited Annual Accounts and the Report of the Board in the post earlier this month. These documents are also available online HERE.

As per the proposed AGM agenda, alongside the normal business, there are a number of resolutions of which Members will be asked to vote on at the 30th March meeting (please consult the Annual Accounts Booklet for this information). Voting will be possible during the virtual AGM, via the Zoom ‘polling’ function (instructions for which will be given at the start of the meeting by Chief Executive Rob Andrew), however, we will only be able to count one vote per device. If you are unable to attend the AGM, you can cast your proxy vote HERE. Please note, an Individual Member/Affiliated Club may not submit more than one vote. All proxy votes must be received by noon on Monday, 29th March 2021 at the latest.
