Over what should have been our scheduled 2020 Vitality Blast campaign, 1st Central are putting the Sharks in the spotlight. Up first, it's Luke Wright.
Today, we're looking back at his two performances which have both reached the final of our inaugural Innings World Cup.
Wright's 92 at Finals Day was the first of his memorable knocks to reach the last round, after it narrowly beat Phil Salt's 148 off just 138 balls against Derbyshire in 2018.
The Sharks skipper required just 53 balls to record the highest score in Finals Day history, and power his side to victory over Somerset in the semi-final.

The second of Wright's knocks to reach the Innings World Cup final was his staggering 166 against Middlesex in last year's One-Day Cup.
It was the highest score of his List A career, and the highest in Sussex's List A history - before David Wiese hit 171 vs. Hampshire seven days later.
Nevertheless, despite losing it's record, Wright's innings was vital and secured the Sharks a great win at Lord's.
