Laurie Evans interviews Luke Wright on his brand new podcast

Sussex batsman, Laurie Evans has delved into the media world by launching a new podcast, with Luke Wright his first guest.

The Sharks skipper spoke to Evans on the first episode of ‘The Inside Half’ about joining Sussex as a youngster, his England career and winning the T20 World Cup, what he’s learned from both the high and low points of his time as a professional cricketer and much more.

Evans himself is keen to talk to elite athletes about those moments, and how professional sportsmen and women cope with both the great moments and the difficult times.

“It’s something I’ve been planning to do for a while,” said Evans, who edits and records the podcast himself, as well as presenting it.

“While I’ve been away playing franchise cricket, I’ve been surrounded by some of the best players in the world available to chat to.

“I think it will be a great podcast. I don’t want to make it just a cricket podcast but more of a general sport thing about how people live through their highs and lows.”
