Icons of cricket and football are the special guests at a charity lunch in Brighton next month.
Footballing legend Kevin Keegan and the men’s Cricket World Cup trophy will be present at ‘Where Cricket Meets… Kevin Keegan’ at The Grand Hotel on Friday 15th November.
Guests will enjoy stories from the former England player and manager, a three-course lunch and the chance to take a photo alongside the World Cup trophy.
There will also be the chance to win a range of incredible items during the afternoon’s auction and raffle. These include a corporate box with full hospitality hosted by the Sussex Cricket President at a Lord's Test match, corporate box with full hospitality for a Manchester United game at Old Trafford, use of a ski chalet in the French Alps and Cricket World Cup memorabilia signed by Sussex superstar Jofra Archer.
Looking ahead to the event, Sussex Cricket’s head of community cricket, Chris Coleman said: “We are really excited to have a headline event supporting the Sussex Cricket Foundation and in partnership with the Matthew Hobden Trust.
“Welcoming an England legend to Brighton and the World Cup Trophy won by Sussex’s own Jofra Archer should make for a superb event and with some great auction and raffle prizes on offer, guests have the opportunity to leave with a memory that lasts a lifetime.”
Tickets for ‘Where Cricket Meets… Kevin Keegan’ are available for £75 per person for a table of ten, or £80 for individual tickets from www.eticketing.co.uk/sussexcricket/. Guests are welcome to arrive from 12pm, with lunch being served at 1pm.
