The Sharks return to T20 action with the final two matches of the Vitality Blast group stage.
Paul Farbrace’s side travel to Kent Spitfires tomorrow night (Friday) before concluding the South Group fixtures at The 1st Central County Ground against Gloucestershire on Saturday.
Farbrace has named a 14-player squad for both matches.
Squad
Bopara (c), Burgess (wk), Carter, Clark, Coles, Crocombe, Currie, Hudson-Prentice, Ibrahim, Karvelas, Khan, McAndrew, Mills, Ward
Team news
Nathan McAndrew returns to the T20 squad after recovering from a groin injury. George Garton will see a specialist this week regarding a hip injury.
Farbrace’s thoughts
"We are looking to finish the tournament well and put in two more good performances. We had two very good wins at Bristol and Cardiff against good teams last week.
"Shadab was superb in both games, especially as he was playing with stitches in his left hand. It is good to have Nathan back in the squad.
"I have been impressed with how players who didn’t start in the team have come into the team and shown glimpses of what they can do. It’s two more opportunities for players to show they are good players in this format and deserve to be in the team."
