The start date of this year’s Indian Premier League has been pushed back due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Chris Jordan, as well as our Vitality Blast overseas star, Rashid Khan are set to play in the upcoming IPL, which will now begin on 15 April.
The tournament was initially intended to run from 29 March to 24 May.
Jordan, who will play for Kings Punjab XI, could now miss up to six County Championship fixtures and four Vitality Blast fixtures if his side go all the way to the final. Khan will also miss four Blast matches if he reaches the final with Sunrisers Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Tymal Mills will take no further part in the Pakistan Super League after opting to fly back to England.
The PCB offered foreign players the opportunity to leave the tournament amid coronavirus fears, and has since said all players and support staff can withdraw from the event should they wish to do so.
Mills will fly back to London tonight with his Quetta Gladiators teammate, Jason Roy. Alex Hales, Rilee Rossouw, James Vince, Tom Banton, Liam Dawson, James Foster (coach), Lewis Gregory and Liam Livingstone, who are all based in England, will also leave the PSL early.
All remaining games in this year's PSL will now be played behind closed doors, with the tournament shortened by four days after the four-match play offs were replaced with a two-day knockout stage.
Sussex's Phil Salt, David Wiese, Chris Jordan and Ravi Bopara have also been playing in this year's PSL, but have decided to stay in Pakistan for now.
