Jofra Archer named in England ODI and T20 squads

Sussex fast-bowler Jofra Archer has been named in both England ODI and T20 squads for the tour of Bangladesh, which takes place in March.

Jofra returned to the England ODI squad last week in sensational form, recording his best ever ODI bowling figures (6-40) in the last of the three matches against South Africa.

England Men's selection panel have named the two 15-player squads for next month’s ODI and IT20 series away to Bangladesh.

Uncapped Somerset batter Tom Abell, who is set to captain the England Lions in the upcoming ODI series in Sri Lanka, is included in both squads while Leicestershire leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed earns his first call-up to an England white-ball squad.

Saqib Mahmood is recalled to the ODI squad as he prepares to make his return to full international cricket following the back injury he suffered last May. 

The three-match IT20 series will be England’s first since being crowned world champions at last November’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia.
