Harvey’s Brewery becomes Official Cask Ale Supplier for Sussex Cricket

Sussex Cricket is delighted to announce that local brewery, Harvey’s Brewery will become the Club’s Official Cask Ale Supplier for at least the next three years.

Based in Lewes, East Sussex, Harvey’s Brewery is a family run business and is the oldest independent brewery in Sussex.

Established in 1790, the business has been in the guardianship of seven generations of John Harvey’s descendants.

Bob Trimm, Sales and Marketing Manager for Harvey’s said: “Harvey’s Brewery are proud to become a Corporate Partner with Sussex Cricket as Official Cask Ale Supplier.

“We have a long association with the club and with a combined history of 420 years it made perfect sense to partner with another iconic Sussex institution, allowing visitors to the ground to enjoy first-class cricket with a first-class beer.”

The partnership follows the news from last week that Pembroke Financial Services will sponsor the red-ball shirt for the 2023 season, as well as news of a new local sponsor in R-cubed.

Speaking on the deal, Sussex Cricket CEO, Rob Andrew, added: “It is great to have another local partner on board, Harvey’s Brewery is a fantastic local family business that reflects our values as a Club.

To have them as our Official Cask Ale Supplier for three years is brilliant and we look forward to welcoming them to The 1st Central County Ground for years to come.”
