Grant Stewart joins on one-month loan

Sussex Cricket is delighted to announce the signing of Grant Stewart on a one-month loan from Kent.

The all-rounder made a name for himself during Kent’s promotion season in 2018, taking 6-22 against Middlesex, before following up with his maiden first-class century in the same game from just 73 balls.

Commenting on the new loan signing, Sussex’s Performance Director, Keith Greenfield said: “With the level of injuries we have in the squad currently, to be able to get a player of Grant’s all-round ability is fantastic, especially as it will help to give balance to our side.”

Stewart will wear squad number 99 and is available for selection for the trip to Worcestershire tomorrow in the LV= Insurance County Championship.
