Fireworks Night presented by Webtrends Optimize returns to The 1st Central County Ground tonight and to ensure you have the best evening possible, we’ve pulled together all of the information you need to plan your visit.
Parking on site is not available; we highly recommend that you arrive on foot and via public transport. Vehicles will not to be able to drop spectators off on Eaton Road.
Please note: Road closures will be enforced if access both before and after the event.

All visitors must enter via the main entrance located at the South end of the ground, via Eaton Road. Security checks will be in operation, we therefore encourage visitors to arrive as early as possible, to ensure you do not miss the fireworks display. Gates will be open from 6pm.

Fireworks display approx. 7.30pm
Display ends around 7.55pm; however Sixes bar will be open until 10pm.
Tickets are not available to purchase on the gate, if you wish to come to the event, please buy your tickets in advance online.
Whether you’re after some grub, a hot drink to warm you up, or even an alcoholic beverage, we will have you covered.
If it’s food you’re after, we have a number of units selling everything from burgers to pizzas and so much more!
You’ll also find several places to purchase hot drinks, lagers, wines and soft drinks.
Please note: The 1st Central County Ground is a cashless venue, so please plan accordingly.
Visitors are permitted to bring in bottles of water, along with an A4 sized bag of personal snacks. Alcohol is not permitted to be brought into the ground.
Sparklers are not permitted to be brought into the ground for this event. Any found will be confiscated and disposed of.

Meet your favourite Sussex players at Fireworks Night!
Between 6-6.30pm, you can meet a number of Sussex stars in our Sixes bar.
The Sixes nets will also be available to book throughout the evening, provided you have a Fireworks Night ticket.
Although we are expecting a clear evening, visitors are permitted to bring umbrellas into the venue. All umbrellas must be taken down when the display begins.
If you’re a local student attending Fireworks Night, we’ve laid on an extra treat for you. From 4.30pm you’ll have free use of our Sixes Social Cricket nets. All you need to do is show up with your Fireworks ticket and student ID.
Also, if you fancy a drink or a net after the display Sixes Bar will be open until 10pm.
When leaving the ground, we anticipate that the surrounding roads will be extremely busy, therefore if you are being picked up by car, please arrange to do so away from the area
Road closures will be enforced until 8.45pm.
