FAQs: Vitality Blast quarter-final tickets

We’re looking forward to a home quarter-final at The 1st Central County Ground in this year’s Vitality Blast next week against Worcestershire Rapids. The date has been confirmed as Friday 6th September at 1900.

So that Sharks fans are prepared ahead tickets going on sale, please see below answers to a number of frequently asked questions.

When will the quarter-final take place?

The match will take place on Friday 6th September.

What time will the match take place?

The match will start at 1900.

Who will we be playing?

We will be playing Worcestershire Rapids, who finished fourth in the Vitality Blast North Group.

When will tickets be available to purchase?

Tickets will be on general sale from 1530 on Saturday 31st August.

Tickets can be purchased online, in person within the club shop and over the phone by calling 0844 264 0206.

How much will tickets cost?

Tickets will be charged at the same rate as for group matches:

General Admission

• Adult - £23
• Youth (under 18) - £10
•  Junior (under 14) - £5

Allocated Seat

• Adult - £28
• Youth (under 18) - £15
• Junior (under 14) - £10

There are no family tickets available for quarter-final matches.

I am a Blast Pass holder, is entry to this match included with my season ticket?

A Blast Pass gives access to all seven home group matches. You will need to purchase a ticket for the quarter-final.

Will I receive priority access to tickets as a Blast Pass holder?

Blast Pass holders will have priority access to tickets from 0930 on Saturday 31st August until 1430.

Tickets can be purchased online using your existing Sussex Cricket ticketing account, in person within the club shop and over the phone by calling 0844 264 0206.

As a Blast Pass holder, will I be able to secure my existing seat?

Yes, your existing seat will be available to secure during the priority window. After the close of the priority window at 1430 on Saturday, your seat will be released for general sale.

As a Blast Pass holder, do I get any other benefits?

Yes, your match ticket for the quarter-final will be available at a concessionary rate of:

• Adult - £15
• Youth (under 18) - £7
• Junior (under 14) - £3.50

Additional tickets will be charged at the standard rate and can only be purchased once tickets are available on general sale from 1530 on Saturday.

I have a Membership that includes T20 access, do the Blast Pass benefits above apply to me?

Yes, Memberships, such as 'Executive', include a Blast Pass. You will be entitled to all the benefits mentioned above.

Is there a reserve date should the match not be completed?

Yes, if necessary, matches can be completed on the day following the scheduled date of the match. Your match ticket will be valid for entry on the reserve day and no refunds will be available under these circumstances.

Will hospitality be available for this match and when will packages go on sale?

Yes! There will be two hospitality packages available for the quater-final:

Option 1 - £150 inc VAT per person

• Match Ticket within Cow Corner
• Decked viewing area on boundary edge
• Three Course Dinner
• Cheese board in the interval between innings
• All-inclusive beer, cider, lager, soft drinks and house wine

Option 2 - £65 inc VAT per person

• Match Ticket within Cow Corner
• Decked viewing area on boundary edge
• Curry, rice, naan, poppadum and chutneys
• Dessert
• Private cash bar

Will this match be streamed on the Sussex Cricket website?

No, this match will be televised, therefore we are unable to provide a live streaming service.

Will the club shop / telephone lines be open across the weekend to purchase tickets?

The club shop and telephone lines will be open between 0930 – 1730 on Saturday 31st August.

As we are hosting the KSL Finals Day on Sunday 1st September the shop will only be open for in-person ticket sales to those who have a valid ticket to enter the ground. Those without a ticket for KSL Finals Day will need to purchase online.

I can’t get through on the phone and live too far away to travel to the ground, how do I purchase tickets?

We expect our ticket line to be extremely busy throughout the weekend, the quickest way to secure tickets will be via our online ticketing platform. If you haven’t purchased tickets online before, head to www.sussexcricket.co.uk to register your account.

If the phone is your only means of purchasing a ticket please be patient and keep trying. Our staff are committed to helping all Sharks supporters.

I am a Blast Pass holder or ticket purchaser from Sussex Cricket but have not got an online account, how do I activate my online account so I can purchase tickets?

Activating your online account couldn't be easier as long as you know your ID number. Your ID number can be found on the back of your Blast Pass, on an old ticket stub or within your confirmation email from a previous purchase. The number will be 8 digits long and start with either 100XXXXX or 110XXXXX.

Once you have your ID number simply head to the Sussex Cricket online ticket office and follow the simple steps below:

• Click 'Sign in'
• Click 'Activate it now' within the 'Have an existing account section?'
• Enter your ID Number and Surname then click 'Find my Account'
• To complete the process follow the on screen steps finalise your online login details
