For what what would have been the start of the County Championship season on Sunday 12 April, we are calling on cricket lovers to make the most of the date and face their first ball of the summer!

With our Championship opener against Durham postponed, we're counting on our fans to fill the cricketing void this weekend...

What do I need to do?

It’s easy, simply film yourself facing the first ball of summer. A drive? A leave? A six down the ground? How will you play yours?

When do I need to do it?

Sunday 12 April at 11am! As the first County Championship matches would have started at this time and on this date.

How do I share my video?
