The Big Primary School Survey

The Sussex Cricket Foundation has announced the launch of its first survey dedicated exclusively to primary schools, aiming to strengthen Cricket participation across the county.

The short online questionnaire, consisting of just 20 questions and taking no more than five minutes to complete, is open throughout January 2026.

Primary school staff and PE leads are invited to share insights into their current needs, experiences, and challenges related to delivering Cricket as the country's national summer sport. The Foundation hopes the responses will provide valuable data to better understand school requirements, enhance its programmes, break down barriers to participation, and foster stronger connections with schools that may have had limited previous engagement.

This initiative builds on the Foundation's ongoing commitment to schools cricket, which includes Chance to Shine partnerships, competitions, coaching sessions, and events reaching thousands of young people each year.

The survey is available now - primary schools across Sussex are encouraged to take part to help shape the future of the game at grassroots level. Please click here to complete the survey.
