Welcome to the Sussex Cricket Foundation Schools Summer Blast! Brought to you in partnership with  the Sussex School Games, Active Sussex and Chance to Shine.
Thanks to the success of our Virtual Schools Cup in the winter just gone which saw 28 schools 2364 children taking part, we have decided to create another simple virtual cricket skills competition for primary schools in Sussex to get involved in this summer.
The competition opens on Monday 21st June and closes on Friday 16th July. All you have to do to  enter is complete the 3 x skills challenges that we have set for you (more details below) and send  in your scores using our online Scoring Form.

Thank you in advance for submitting your scores with honesty and integrity.
With the nature of a ‘virtual’ competition, it is difficult to ensure absolute consistency in the set-up and application of each challenge. We also understand that occasionally, typos can happen when submitting scores. We want to share with you the steps that we are taking to ensure a fair and honest competition.
1. Each time a participant/teacher completes the online entry form, they must review their submission before finalising. We hope that this step will help to avoid typos and other mistakes when submitting scores.
2. After reviewing their entry, each participant must agree to the Participation
Agreement statement, agreeing that their scores are true, honest and accurate.
3. To cater for misunderstandings and inconsistencies in the set-up and application of each challenge, a Generous Realistic Maximum has been calculated. Score submissions over the Generous Realistic Maximum will be reduced to the average score for that challenge for fairness.
4. Abnormalities in the data are fairly easy to spot, and where we suspect that a score submission may not be true, honest and accurate, we reserve the right to
remove the entrant from the competition.
