Aim of the fund:
Through a contribution from the ECB, The 1st Central Sussex Cricket League have created the League Support Fund, which is available to all affiliated 1st Central Sussex Cricket League clubs, allowing them to apply for a contribution towards projects that encourage the betterment of league cricket in Sussex.
What can the fund be used for?
The League Support Fund can be used in a variety of ways, ideas include but are not limited to:
Changing Room Renovations / Machinery Purchase / Match Day Items such as Stumps, Boundary Rope, Covers & Sightscreens / Scoreboards & Score Huts / Electronic Scoring & Live Streaming Equipment Purchase / Non-Turf Pitch Installation for use in league cricket.
What the fund CANNOT be used for:
What is the level of funding?
Clubs can apply for a funding contribution of up to £500. It is not guaranteed that the club will receive the full requested amount.

Please complete the online form to apply and send your quotes and club constitution to carl.tupper@sussexcricket.co.uk. For 2024, the fund will be open for applications until Friday 1st March and clubs will be informed of the outcome week commencing 11th March 2024.
If successful, the club will be asked to complete a claim form and The 1st Central Sussex Cricket League Treasurer will transfer the funds directly to the dedicated cricket club bank account. Clubs will be asked to provide a copy of the invoice for payment to be made.
How do we provide evidence of the spend?
Photographic evidence of the project is desirable for all applications, upon application you will be asked to provide quotes for your project.
Other notes:
All clubs will be asked to ensure their Club Development Plan is up to date and shared with their SCF Territory Manager, to show that the project is on the club agenda.

Clubs that are successful in receiving a grant, must wait two seasons before applying again.
