SCHOOL VISITS

Bring your students to The 1st Central County Ground, Hove - home of Sussex Cricket. They are sure to have a fantastic time experiencing all that we have to offer, be that by watching the Sussex players in action on a Match Day or learning some new skills at our Indoor School on a Non-Match Day.

Match Day

Watch Sussex play in either an LV County Championship or Royal London Cup match. You can choose from either the morning session (11am – 1pm*) or the afternoon session (2pm – 4pm*)

*Match day timings are subject to change at short notice. If play is cancelled due to the weather, you will be given the option of rescheduling (subject to availability) or a full refund.

Non Match Day

Enjoy a 2-hour Introduction to Cricket session run by our fully qualified community coaches in the Indoor School – the very same place the Sussex professionals do their training!

Optional extras:

Around the Ground Quiz - explore the ground to find the answers
Take a tour of the Sussex Cricket Museum to learn about the history of Sussex Cricket

Total time at the ground 2-3 hours. Cost per student - £10

No visit is complete without a visit to the Club Shop to purchase** a souvenir of your day!

Schools Day 2024

This year our Schools Day event, when we invite schools from across the county to enjoy a day of cricket, will be held on Wednesday 19th June at The 1st Central County Ground, Hove. You can request up to 100 tickets for free, to come along and watch the Southern Vipers in action against South East Stars during a fast paced T20 fixture!

Please complete this Expression of Interest form with the details of the lead from your school. Deadline to apply is Friday 01st March.
