On behalf of Sussex and ECB we are delighted to invite you to a regional conference being held this Autumn.
The one-day event will be an excellent opportunity to discuss the latest ideas and meet with like-minded coaches through a series of workshops as well as networking breaks and lunch.
The day will be focused on all things spin. Michael Yardy will open the day with a session exploring approaches to playing spin. Chris Brown and Mark O’Leary will explore how to get the best out of spin bowlers. Eddie Burke will close the conference with his ideas on how we can introduce fielding close to the bat.
Click https://booking.ecb.co.uk/mXRDoD to secure your place today for just £10.00, by 5pm on the 5th November 2022.
As an added incentive if you are one of the first twenty delegates to register you will receive a £10.00 voucher for coachingkit.co.uk and be entered in a draw to win a Reflex Deflector.
The ECB Coaches Association (ECB CA) is a place to turn to for advice and support. It provides access to the latest thinking and ideas as well as contact with like-minded coaches working to help each other with the simplest of questions right through to comprehensive insurance and legal support if you require it.
There is access to high quality discounted coaching kit and equipment which will help you keep your sessions fresh and interesting, as well as the popular ECB CA Three Lions clothing range which only ECB CA members can wear.
Should you want to refresh your memory regarding practices, or just talk to other coaches or keep up to date with the hot topics and the latest thinking at the top of the game, the ECB CA is there to support you on your coaching journey, helping you to be the best coach you can be.
Whilst all newly qualified coaches are encouraged to become members when taking their courses, it could be that coaches who qualified some years ago, before the current welfare policies were introduced, might not have joined or have even allowed their membership to lapse. If you coach at a ClubMark accredited club or one that is in the process of seeking accreditation, it should be noted that all active coaches are required to be members of the ECBCA.
