Team news

George Garton is rested after featuring in the T20 games and is continuing to recover from long Covid.

Jack Carson, Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer are all unavailable as they continue their rehabilitation programmes.

Salisbury’s comments

“We are of course still searching for our first win, we did some great things in the last game and if we had got a few more runs things could have been different. These experiences will stand our young players in good stead, but we’ve just got to improve slightly in a couple areas and it will come.

“Derbyshire are having a good season, so we are looking forward to a really competitive game. It feels like it’s been ages since we’ve had a four day game down at Hove and we are ready to get out there and perform.”

How to watch

All four days of the action will be livestreamed and is available via our Matchday Centre, where you can also find ball-by-ball updates, stats and highlights in real-time. Play is due to begin at 11:00am tomorrow.
