Head coach, Alexia Walker has named her team for Sussex’s opening two fixtures of the Royal London Women’s One-Day Championship at the Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre this weekend.
Led by Georgia Adams, the team for the matches against Warwickshire on Sunday and Nottinghamshire on Monday includes two current England internationals in Freya Davies and Linsey Smith.
Rising star Ella McCaughan, who has just returned from the England Academy tour to India, will also feature and ‘keeper, Carla Rudd will make her competitive return for Sussex having rejoined the county over the winter.
Both games take place at the home of Sussex Women’s cricket - The Sir Rod Aldridge Cricket Centre - located at Brighton Aldridge Community Academy.
Play starts at 11am on both days. Entry and parking is free.
