Sussex suffered a frustrating end to their Vitality Women’s County T20 campaign with both fixtures against Kent abandoned without a ball bowled on Sunday.

As a result of the weather, Kent were crowned South East Group champions with a 100% record, while Sussex finished fourth with three wins and three defeats from their six completed matches.

Ella McCaughan finished as Sussex's leading run-scorer with 96 runs to her name and a top score of 40*, while with the ball, Beth Harvey and Tara Norris led the way with seven dismissals each.

Focus for Alexia Walker's side now switches to the 2021 Women's London Championship, which gets underway at the start of June with Sussex set to face Kent again in the opening fixture.
