The Vitality County Championship is back! Sussex's season gets underway tomorrow with the visit of Northamptonshire, and Head Coach Paul Farbrace has named 14-player squad for the opener.

Team news

Cheteshwar Pujara will miss the season opener due to a slight back injury. 

Danny Lamb, Jayden Seales and John Simpson all make their first-class debuts for Sussex, with Simpson also captaining the side and taking the gloves.

The lads have worked incredibly hard over the winter, with the trip to India the icing on the cake. Everybody is read to go and we are very much looking forward to the visit of Northamptonshire at The 1st Central County Ground.
