Sussex Sharks return to Wormsley to play Oxfordshire

The Sussex Sharks will once again make the trip to the magnificent Wormsley Estate to play a 50-over friendly against National Counties partner, Oxfordshire ahead of the One Day Cup campaign.

Since 2013 Sussex have partnered with Oxfordshire Cricket creating a sustainable and high-performing talent development system in Oxfordshire that gives the county’s young players the best chance of fulfilling their ambitions of joining the Sussex Academy and professional staff.

In recent years, players such as Harrison Ward and James Coles have broken into the Sussex first team from Oxfordshire Cricket, with a number of others also featuring for the academy and second XI.

Match and ticket information 

The first team will return once again for a 50-over friendly on Sunday 30th July, with the action getting underway from 11:00am.

Entry to the match will be free to all, however, there will be a parking charge. A £6 ticket enables you to park one car at Wormsley, entry is free to all. 

Refreshments will be available to spectators which include but are not limited to tea, coffee, soft drinks, bar, food, BBQ and ice cream. A VIP dining option will be available, more information will be released in the coming weeks.
