After a month away the County Championship returns tomorrow as Sussex welcome Worcestershire to Hove as they look to build on the momentum created by a fantastic Royal London Cup campaign in August.
Spectators are reminded that play will begin at 10:30am.

Kirtley’s comments
“I am hoping that the next few weeks are going to be exciting and that the team can build on the momentum we built over the previous month.
“It is great to welcome back our captain, Tom Haines along with Fynn Hudson-Prentice and of course, Jack Carson.
“A large group of this squad went to play at Newport last week, where we looked a little bit rusty, it was a bit of a wake-up call and a reminder of the application and method that is required to win games of cricket.
“However, it is really exciting to have Faheem Ashraf in the squad, he is a bowling all-rounder that has great skill which will be suited to county cricket and we are all now looking forward to playing some four-day cricket Hove.”
