Team news
Mohammad Rizwan has now returned to Pakistan following a successful first season at Hove.
Archie Lenham is unavailable following a positive COVID test and Jamie Atkins is out with a shoulder injury.
George Garton, Jack Carson, Ollie Robinson and Jofra Archer remain unavailable as they continue their rehabilitation programmes.
Salisbury’s comments
“It was of course great to the first win of the season last time out, we’ve all been working so hard towards this.
“As I’ve said plenty of times before, we got close to winning games, we put ourselves into great positions but didn’t get over the line, so to do it the way we did last week was extremely pleasing.
“It was great to see the boys back up that performance again in the 2nd XI game against Surrey, and I am sure we will see more of the same starting tomorrow.
“We’ve got Puj back now with the bit between his teeth, he’s hungry to come back in and pick up where he left off, it’s going to be great to be able to watch him in action again.”
Sussex Cricket Foundation Schools Day
As part of the Sussex Cricket Foundation’s mission to inspire the next generation of cricketers in the County, we will be welcoming 800 children from a variety of local schools to The 1st Central County Ground on the first day of the game against Leicestershire.
For many of the children it will be their first experience of a live sporting event. To ensure everyone enjoys the day we will be seating the children and their teachers exclusively in the Shark Stand and offering spectators seats in alternative sections of the ground.
Please be advised that the Eaton Road entrance may be busier than usual on the first day of the game.
Ticket information
You can still purchase tickets online for the game, or alternatively you can purchase tickets on the gate, however we recommend purchasing them in advance to help speed up your entry.
How to watch
All four days of the action will be livestreamed and is available via our Matchday Centre, where you can also find ball-by-ball updates, stats and highlights in real-time. Play is due to begin at 11:00am tomorrow.
You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram if you’re on the go.
