Team news
Fynn Hudson-Prentice will not feature after recently playing for the Sharks in a number of T20 Blast fixtures as a batsman, as he continues recovery from a stress fracture which prevents him from bowling.
George Garton will continue his rehabilitation programme following long COVID and Ollie Robinson is unavailable for selection due to an injury to his back.
Ali Orr will be available in the squad and will join up with the team, subject to a negative COVID test.
Cheteshwar Pujara is away in India with his national team preparing for a Test match against England in July. Mohammad Rizwan is also away with his national team playing in an ODI series against the West Indies.
Salisbury’s comments
“Even though we didn’t get the win we wanted after the last round of games, but you could see that we are moving in the right direction.
“It is great to be able to welcome Dan Ibrahim back, he is a young exciting all-rounder that can play a big part in our season.
“With a number of key injuries to our bowlers, it is great to be able to bring in someone of Jack Brooks’ experience and ability, he has shown he can take wickets at this level and will be an asset for us in the next couple of games.”
