Schedule for pre-season tour confirmed

The full schedule for Sussex men’s pre-season tour has been confirmed, with Jason Gillespie’s squad returning to South Africa.

Sussex will fly to Cape Town on Sunday 8th March and play two-day matches against both Loughborough MCCU and Cardiff MCCU during the 13-day trip.

Between matches, the players will train at Claremont CC, before returning to the UK on Saturday 21st March ahead of playing Hampshire in the first of three pre-season friendlies on home soil.

Monday, 09/03/20: Arrival.

Monday, 16/03/20: Day One of two-day game v Cardiff MCCU at Claremont CC.

Tuesday, 17/03/20: Day Two of two-day game v Cardiff MCCU at Claremont CC.

Thursday, 19/03/20: Day One of two-day game v Loughborough MCCU at Claremont CC. 

Friday, 20/03/20: Day Two of two-day game v Loughborough MCCU at Claremont CC.

Saturday, 21/03/20: Flight home.
