During the unprecedented situation we all find ourselves in, it has never been more important to look after your mental health.
The theme of this year’s #MentalHealthAwareness week, which started on Monday 18 May, is kindness – something research has shown is deeply connected with our mental health.
Whether that’s buying a friend a bacon roll at Hove on a matchday, offering to do a neighbour’s shopping on a rainy Monday morning, or sending a message to family and friends during the ongoing lockdown, an act of kindness can go a long way.
Mind and Mental Health Foundation are both supporting #MentalHealthAwareness week, and can offer help to anyone who might need some kindness in their life, or is finding things difficult, during the coronavirus pandemic.
You can find out more about the work Mind do, and how they can help you, HERE, while details about Mental Health Foundation and the support they offer can be found HERE.
