Head groundsperson Ben Gibson explains the unique nature of preparations for the new season

With the new season fast approaching and it being the middle of the Grounds Management Association's first ever #GroundsWeek, what better time to catch up with Sussex Cricket's head groundsperson, Ben Gibson.

Ben tells us all about the specially heated marquee he and his team have put in place at The 1st Central County Ground to allow the squad to prepare properly for the new season, his preparations out in the middle for the start of the new campaign, the particular issues the pandemic has presented for his team and finally having crowds in to see cricket played on the wickets he has prepared.
